Today, I just want to talk about love. Not about whether I am in love or not—just love itself. Love doesn’t change its meaning. Whether it exists between friends, lovers, couples, or even enemies—it remains the same at its core. Why does it make people feel strong and weak at the same time? Why does it make us feel secure… and yet deeply insecure? Why do we crave it endlessly, yet sometimes wish we could run away from it?Love makes people do things they have never done in their entire lives. It pushes boundaries, breaks walls, and reshapes who we are.
And if you ask me—yes or no—
I would still say yes.
Without overthinking.
Without worrying about consequences.
Without trying to control the future.
Because love is not meant to be calculated. Why does love make us laugh through the night…and also make us cry more than we ever have? Why do memories arrive unannounced on random days, bringing both warmth and pain at the same time? Why does one person slowly become our entire world?
People in love fight.
They cry.
They hurt each other.
Yet, at the end of everything, they still want to do everything together.
Jealousy burns hotter than the summer sun. But the warmth they give us feels softer than a blanket in winter. And when it rains…even holding an umbrella together becomes a beautiful moment. But why is it that we remember the worst parts more than the happy ones? Maybe because we carry them longer. Maybe because pain leaves deeper marks than joy. If someone truly loves you, don’t let your negative thoughts or anxious moments destroy it. Whatever you are going through—go through it together.
This time, choose to remember the good moments, not just the painful ones. This time, lower your boundaries… and let someone step into your world. This time, open up—even if you never have before. This time, show your vulnerable side… even if you’re afraid of getting hurt someday.
Because the truth is—
we don’t know what the future holds.
So why not love fully, while we can?
Hoping this season…
becomes the most beautiful one.

Alekya's Introduction: Hii! This is Alekya Rekapalli. My hobbies are playing guitar and journalising my thoughts. The thing I love the most is to enjoy the beauty of the nature. My writings are not a collection of total happiness or sadness. Rather, they are my thoughts of feeling insecure about my past mistakes and hoping for a better future. They are about my friends, family and mainly about me.
