Soulmate

Your departure
Still stuck in my mind
Like a dreadful nightmare
Playing rewind
With that last kiss on your forehead
Eyes bleeding
Still gripping those cold hands
Amidst of all

Every laughs and fights
Rushing to my mind
As you lay there still
Eyes boring to mine
Face drenched with blood
Now clean as a white paper
Your favorite white shirt
Clinging to your body

Pale skin, purple lips
Advising me
To leave you there
And go away
But I’m still holding on
For you to wake up
And tell me that
It was all a false play

No it didn’t happen
As they descended you
Into the holy Earth
Careful not to disturb you
Whimperings and wailings
Filled my ears
My knees weak
Soul crushing

How am I going to tell you now
That you are my soulmate
Just like you always wished
To hear from me
Now you’re gone and
I’m still here weeping
Beside your grave
For you to come back
