Hear me out,
I’ll just say it once.
Look at me,
I’ll be bearing myself for the first.
Read along my fingers
the stories of my embedded scars.
Ask me twice and again,
My tears are still befriending words.
Wait a little more
My fears often bore my yearning down .
Sit beside, offer a shoulder
My pride is too big to reconcile.
I crave presence
but solitude appeals me.
I am a paradoxical being
So be my shadow,
wrapping around me in all my darks.
Tell me about the world around
I have lived in the tower all my life.
About the wind and horses gallops
I have filled my journals
with imaginations wide, up all night.
Intertwined fingers, gazing at the moon
Intoxicating dance, breathing life to my shrine.
Reassure me with reasons and touch,
My mind drugs me with thoughts
Of prequels and sequels.
And consequences to bear.
Hold me by but don’t tie me up ;
Freedom lulls me to sleep.
When I push you away,
haunt my nights like an unlived dream.
And when I lose myself
Please come and find me again.
