The Roses of Eternal Love

In fleeting moments of life’s embrace,
Two hearts converged in a tender space.
He, a soul of dreams, she, a radiant dove,
Bound together, entwined in love.

Under skies of azure, their laughter soared,
A symphony of joy, like never before.
In whispers soft, she made a plea,
“Grant me a rose, my love, just one from thee.”

With a chuckle light, he turned her down,
“There’s time aplenty, no need to frown.
For roses shall bloom in the days ahead,
Let’s treasure the moments, no need to be led.”

Yet fate’s cruel hand, with no heed for pleas,
Unfurled its design, shattered dreams like leaves.
In a blink, she was gone, a soul taking flight,
Leaving behind darkness, in place of the light.

Now he stands by her grave, a bouquet in his hand,
Regret’s bitter truth he can’t understand.
He speaks to the wind, to the heavens above,
“Could I not have given you roses, my love?”

In the hush of the night, her voice softly nears,
A whisper in his heart, allaying his fears.
“Beloved,”
she says, “do not bear this weight,
For love transcends time, it’s never too late.”

“The roses you hold, in sorrow’s embrace,
Symbolize love that time can’t erase.
Each petal’s a memory, each thorn a tear,
In this eternal bond, my presence is clear.”

“The red roses speak of passion’s fire,
A love unextinguished, a burning desire.
White ones, purity of feelings so deep,
In dreams and memories, forever I’ll keep.”

“Yellow for friendship, the bond that we share,
A connection unbroken, a love beyond compare.
Pink for gratitude, the moments we had,
In the tapestry of time, they’ll never turn bad.”

“Orange for warmth, like the sun’s gentle touch,
Even in darkness, I love you so much.
Lavender’s scent, a calming embrace,
In the garden of memories, our love finds its place.”

“As for the thorns that sometimes cause pain,
They’re reminders of growth, of love’s sweet gain.
Each struggle, each challenge, made us strong,
In the symphony of life, they’re part of the song.”

“The leaves, like pages, tell our story so true,
Every chapter’s a moment I’ve shared with you.
And when you hold these roses, my dear,
Know that I’m with you, always close, always near.”

He lays down the roses, his heart unburdened,
A love that remains, though their worlds have hardened.
In the depths of his soul, her spirit resides,
A love everlasting, where pain gently subsides.

Shuvam's Introduction: Amidst the crucible of life's trials and tribulations, I found myself forged into the person I am today. A crucible that yielded not just pain and sacrifice, but also the exquisite taste of profound bonds forming and sometimes shattering in the most unexpected of ways. These experiences sculpted my essence and ignited an innate passion for the literary realm. Recent years have witnessed my transformation from a passive observer to an impassioned reader of novels, kindling a fervor for the world of words. Now, as an aspiring author, I stand proud of the narrative tapestry I aim to weave, hoping that my musings resonate with others, connecting hearts through the power of prose.
