The glass window lies open,
Early in the morning;
At the crack of dawn itself:
Patches of red, blue and yellow
Scattered here and there
On a sharp panel of glass –
Its hard molecules
Making up a window-
To see through mundanity,
The ordinary yet extraordinary garb
Of the little joys
and big achievements in life
Just a slice of life is not enough,
But a bigger piece –
More than adequate
To see through the flaws
and frailties of human life
Yet,
Without missing out on the rising sun,
A burning red ball of fire
The cracks and crevices
On the glass window-
are nothing,
but-
A reflection of pain
and happiness being accomplices.
