Resilience in Stillness!

Amidst the chaos,
we have found each other;
in the fear of being alone,
in the anguish of not being chosen.

Somewhere within the silence,
we quietly drifted apart.
I see it not as a mistake,
But as truth emerging from the dark.

We poured love into cups
that were never ready to receive.
Together, we offered parts of ourselves
to vessels that were never meant to hold us.

Little did we know,
love is not about being someone’s person-
It’s about becoming
One’s own soul’s refuge.

Love is not an asset;
It is a path,
a remembrance,
and it has never left us.

For all that’s been said and done,
I carry you with me.
I may meet people like you
but none of them will ever be you.

And if love finds us again,
May we become an art in the right eyes;
Because, after all,
To Love and to Live is the true act of survival!

For the softest of flowers
survive the wildest of winds-
not by breaking
but by bending.

And if one day we witness the eternity,
Let’s thank Him,
for placing us
in each other’s lives.
