Serenity

I’ve heard the silence
I know , Hysterical
Laugh as you may,
but the day you hear silence;
One shall laugh no more.

Silence may not be heard by everyone,
but those who are known to it;
will always hail his praise
Might I add for my distress-
I don’t seek silence at all.
He was the one found me dead,
in the notorious mind of oddities,
Laying down in the cold dark earth.

I stared at silence-
from a distance afar.
He had sympathy
in his sorrowful eyes,
His lips sealed
and his eyes speaking symphonies.

The gaze of his-
let my eyes open wide in an awe, of his beauty.
He looked like a vision of Aphrodite,
the spirit divine, The miracle of the gods.
The power of it all, felt surreal.
Until it left the room,
me still on the ground wondering “what if?”

I found my lips sealed,
and my eyes shut.
I seek a void when I listen to the silence
The harmless entity known to all, unknown to all.
Shape your fear or don’t
It’ll always find you
on a cold hard ground
staring back at it,
Like it was meant to be .
