Nostalgic Rain

It poured again formed puddles nearby
Asked me about my paper boats,
me sailing them,
giggling and jumping,playing by.

In the water rolling down.
I held my back with darkness
being the view in my eyes.

And there it shows,
my lovely self still being within it.
Me dancing by,
letting it touch the inch of me,
was playing on loop in my head.

Can I no longer have myself back, even for once?
Throwing pebbles and splashing water
Having umbrella and not using them.
Those unwanted indoor games
and letting the worms
and toads to be the guests.
And to let the window seat be ‘The spot’
It did again, washed my exhaustion.
Did again brought my smiles back for all it did cost me
Was making me one among his own clouds.
