They aren’t just marks carved on skin
They lay deep inside some out of sight
It still stings, it still bites
Wont let your insecurities hide.
Some wear it with pride
Some disguise themselves
Leaving their past behind.
Sometimes Visibility is not in its character,
Hidden well inside,
Carried inside the heavy hearts,
Sometimes visibility is what it screams;
The sweaty palms the itches,
Make the present sink in.
Every scar, every mark;
Has its dark side hidden inside.
The story sits silently;
Waiting to be unfold.
Unless someone scratches it again,
Permanently sealing the door.
The mirror being the time machine,
Standing their vulnerably;
Revealing your bare skin
The finger lingers and carcasses the skin-
Which makes the heart sink.
Blacking out the current scene,
It still stings, it still Stings & you SCREAM!
The vocal chords seem to die
U feel hollow inside
The tears burn ur cheek dry
The unheard screams lost deep inside
Rolling back in time
Wearing the regular smile
Head held high
Kicking some corpses in the mind
The lips curve into a smile
The demon’s rage burns inside.
