Her Soul

Would have it been easier?
If she looked like them,
Felt like them.
Was viewed like them,
Or had a soul like them.

Would have it been easier?
If they saw what’s there,
Inside her heart.
Who yearns for nothing but love,
Not just for her but for others.

Waking up everyday,
Wishing the universe a pleasant day.
Hoping to untie those and herself,
When chained to the cloud of rain.
Hoping to guide them to sunrise.

Just to see them shine,
Wishing to be viewed and loved like others.
Wondering if they really see.
Not just her scars,
But what’s really in her.

Would it be easier?
To hope a good soul and find a beauty in her.
Wishing her the love.
She gives everyone,
But doesn’t get back.
