In love they once did dance, so free and bright,
Their hearts ablaze, their futures shining white.
But now, as wedding bells begin to chime,
Their love’s a faded, bittersweet paradigm.
Misunderstandings cloud their once-clear sky,
As days pass by, and time just rushes by.
They’ve drifted far, and grown so far apart,
The flame that burned now simmers, a fading art.
He, once so caring, now aloof and cold,
She wonders if their love’s a tale that’s old.
They’ve lost the spark, the fire that once did burn,
Their love, a lesson hard, a twist they didn’t discern.
Yet, hope’s not lost, for love can mend its way,
If they can find the words they need to say.
To bridge the gap, rekindle what they had,
Before the love they knew becomes a memory, sad.
So let them work to heal the love they’ve lost,
Rebuild their bond, no matter what the cost.
For in the end, a love that’s tried and true,
Can shine once more, with skies of azure blue.
