Life has been challenging. Things not going fine in office. Slogging hours at works isn’t helping either. Family not satisfied despite putting every possible effort. For me it’s always been the balance that I have been trying to achieve between office & home. Between my family & hers. Between being husband & father. In midst of all this, there is little time to do something that can recharge me with zeal and energy to fulfil my responsibilities.
By the grace of almighty, I get to spend 10 minutes every morning & evening with some special souls.
Every morning at 9, Siddharth gives me a call.
“JRJK 143 Bhaiyya”
“JRJk 143 JSR Sat Sri Akal”
“Aur bhaiyaa kya haal chaal?”
“Bas bhaiiya badhiya. Prabhu ki kripa hai. Aap Sunao”
“Main bhi theek hoon. Kya kar rhe ho?”
Bas Breakfast kar rha hoon.”
Oho..staple diet. Bread MAkkhan kha rhe ho?”
“Jee bhaiyya. Aap batao kahan ho?”
“Bas bhaiyya raste mein hoon. “
And then we speak for a few more minutes. Nothing would make sense to a normal person.
“ Yaar ye Sarkar ne 2000 ke note to band kar diye. Par ab kam se kam 250 ka note zarur nikale. Shaadi ka shagun daalne mein dikkat hoti hai.”
Some gossip. Some current affairs and then we would hang up. After this call, my day begins. By evening, I am completely exhausted. As the day is ending, I call Tanay.
“Bhaiiya Jai Ram Ji Ki.”
“Jai Shri Ram Sir. Kaise hain aap?’
“Prabhu ki kripa hai bhiayya. Tum batao?”
“Bas Sir Sab Theek. “
“Aur kya kar rhe ho?”
“Bas Sir Baitha tha.”
“Kahan?”
“Kursi par Sir.”
“Haan ye bhi theek hai Kursi par baithne se Kamar seedhi rheti hai.
“Jee Sir”
This conversation happens daily and then we discuss things such as.’
“Kya videsh mein bhi log utne hi rashtrvadi hain jitney hum?”
“Kya tumne Prem Baba ko suna?”
More topics emerge from topics. We do manthan on them and just feel happy about it. We record Chacha Choudhary Comics too.
These are the two moments in entire day that I lure for. These two calls on the extreme ends of the day are sufficient for me to handle all the abominable things that happen throughout the day.
The first call ensures I begin the day on a high and the second ensures my day ends on the similar note. One makes me ready to face challenges of the day and other is good enough to shy away the negativity of the day.
Thanks Siddharth & Tanay.!
