MY DREAM

My Love!!
I wasn’t born with wings.
But you are the one who gave me-
courage to fly high,
and achieve my dreams.

I was born crying.
But you are the one who gave me-
a reason to smile,
And your presence itself
is the reason to smile.

I wasn’t born walking.
But you are the one with whom –
I would like to walk with,
walk alongside you,
holding you hand,
no matter how far it is.

I was born with fear,
But you are the one who supported me-
through my tough times,
boosted me in my lows,
and loved me all the time.

I wasn’t born as a good person.
But it was always you who strived-
hard and is still striving,
to make me a better person.

I wasn’t born with you,
But I wish to conquer you one day.
You are the thought before sleep at night,
and to wake up at the dawn.

My dream, you seem so far away
My trails seem so near,
maybe I’m getting better
To know you, to run after you,
and one day to finally get to you
and call you mine.

The Director’s chair welcomes me with a smile,
A sarcastic or a giggle depends on the story it read of mine,
Believing in my vision-
The lights go on,
Cameras roll
And I yell- Action!
Just to get closer to you.
My dream!
