Amidst the stillness of the night,
I find myself alone and quiet.
Solitude, my faithful friend,
In its embrace, my heart can mend.
In silence, I find peace of mind,
And leave the chaos far behind.
The world outside may be so loud,
But in solitude, I’m free and proud.
The stars above, they twinkle bright,
A beautiful and peaceful sight.
The moon’s glow, so gentle and serene,
Makes me forget all that’s been mean.
Solitude, my sweet escape,
A place where I can find my pace.
In its arms, I can be myself,
Away from the world’s selfish self.
So, let me be in my solitude,
For here, my soul can be renewed.
And though the world may keep on turning,
In solitude, I’ll keep on learning.
